A Nairobi court has issued warrants of arrest against Edward and Paul Ndichu for failing to appear in court without providing reasons.
The Ndichu twins were charged with assault and malicious damage over their Emara Ole Sereni hotel drama case involving sisters Cheryl and Stephanie Murgor in October, 2021.
Paul is accused of assaulting Cheryl Murgor, Stephanie Murgor, and Chelimo Murgor while Edward is charged with assaulting Samuel Ramdas and causing them actual bodily harm
The twins are charged jointly with malicious damage of side mirrors of Ramdas’ motor vehicle worth Ksh.87,000; the two committed the offences on the night of October 16 and 17, 2021.
Only one twin – Paul – appeared in court last week and took a plea where he denied the charges.
He was released on a cash bail of Ksh.100,000 with an alternative bond of Ksh.100,000 with a surety of a similar amount.
His brother Edward was not in court as he was denied permission to be absent from work.
