Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba’s Ex Wife to be Laid to Rest Today in Magoye Village.
Priscah Mwaro, the ex-wife of Sports and Arts Cabinet Secretary Ababu Namwamba will be buried today at the CS’s homestead in Magoye village,Budalangi Constituency.
Many in the village nonetheless lauded the move by Namwamba to bury Mwaro even after they separated five years ago.
“It must be remembered that Namwamba ensured she got a job and even helped her brother get some CDF tenders while he (Namwamba) was Budalang’i MP. Theirs was a love that many fail to understand how it collapsed,” said Joram Sande of Magoye area.
“Granted, she loved Namwamba to the core, that is not in dispute. Just visit her social media timeline to see it. Even after they separated, she didn’t go back to erase the love posts.”
A requiem was held at Consulate Shrine on Friday.
Mwaro’s close relatives confirmed her death a day after her birthday on March 8.
She was married to Namwamba for eight years, and together they had three children.
In 2019, they separated and parted ways.
