The cause of the fire was not known however, the neighbours reported that it began in one of the houses where the two children were and spread quickly to the other houses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Roobert Maina and other residents said that efforts put off the fire in an attempt to save the two children were futile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They also complained that Nyahururu firefighters took too long to respond to their distress calls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The angry residents accused the county firefighter of taking too long to respond, arriving hours after the fire had been extinguished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
