<\/figure>\n\n\nOn Monday, the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) appealed to the public to reach out through the anonymous hotline to provide any reliable information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“If you have any information regarding Collins Jumaisi Khalusha’s whereabouts, we encourage you to share it confidentially through the anonymous #FichuaKwaDCI hotline at 0800722203 or reach out to the police through the hotlines 999, 911, and 112,” the post read in part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“Additionally, you are welcome to visit any police station within the country. Your support could greatly impact the re-arrest of this wanted suspect. Every piece of information is valuable.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jumaisi had initially confessed to the murders of the 42 women, including his wife, following the discovery of bodies at the Kware dumpsite in early August.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following his arrest, Jumaisi’s lawyer John Maina Ndegwa claimed that the suspect was tortured to confess, statements which DCI detectives refuted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cMy client has been subjected to horrendous inhuman mistreatment so that he can confess to issues which are alien to him. I pray that the court directs for urgent medical attention even as they do their investigations,” Ndegwa noted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
