She also stated that the number of deaths still remains at one, which occurred on October 11, 2024, from a patient who previously tested positive for Mpox and later recovered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo far, eighty-three (83) contacts have been identified, with seventy-eight (78) completing the required 2I-day follow-up. Of these contacts, three (3) have tested positive for Mpox, and two (2) remain under active follow-up,\u201d stated the CS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cIn the last 24 hours, 15.068 travellers have been screened at Points of Entry (POEs), bringing the cumulative number to 1,701,813 screened across 26 POEs.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
