Police in Cornwall<\/strong> have launched two separate murder investigations<\/strong> after two bodies were discovered less than 10 miles apart. Although the discoveries happened days apart, detectives have confirmed that the cases are not linked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The first body was found in Paramoor Woods near Sticker<\/strong> during the ongoing search for 43-year-old Daniel Coleman<\/a>, who was reported missing in June. Police have since confirmed the remains belong to Coleman. A man named James Desborough<\/strong>, 39, has been charged with murder and is set to appear at Truro Crown Court on August 8<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just days later, a second body was discovered in woodland between Truro and Probus<\/strong>. This launched a completely separate murder investigation. Police have stated clearly that this second case has no connection<\/strong> to the Daniel Coleman investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Devon and Cornwall Police Commissioner Alison Hernandez<\/strong> issued a public apology after initially suggesting there were multiple bodies found at the Sticker scene. Police have since clarified that only Coleman\u2019s body was discovered<\/strong> in that case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a third development, authorities are also investigating a fatal fire in Newquay<\/a> on July 22, where a man in his 30s died. One person has been arrested on suspicion of murder in that separate case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\ud83d\udd0e Police Investigations Continue<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Detective Superintendent Jon Bancroft urged the public to avoid speculation and allow the investigations to proceed. He confirmed that all three cases are independent and ongoing<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
