The deceased included two female passengers,one male passenger and a minor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The eight injured were rushed to Chogoria and Chuka hospitals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“I want to confirm that we have had a fatal accident along this route. My condolences to those who have lost their lives. We are yet to know what exactly the cause of the accident is because that is subject to investigation,” said the police commander.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We call upon drivers and more especially the owners of motor vehicles to ensure their vehicles are roadworthy at all times, and more so the public service vehicles,” he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
