Manchester United Thrashes Leicester City 3-0 in the Premier League

Posted on November 10, 2024November 10, 2024 By Naomy Mbaka No Comments on Manchester United Thrashes Leicester City 3-0 in the Premier League

Manchester United secured a dominant 3-0 win over Leicester City in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

United won 2-0 against PAOK at Old Trafford in the Europa League on Thursday night thanks to an outstanding performance from Amad, who scored twice in the second half.

Amad was rewarded for that display with a start against Leicester and he combined brilliantly with Bruno Fernandes for the midfielder’s goal in the 17th minute of the match.

The youngster found Fernandes with a backheel and the United captain’s finish was superb. United extended their advantage before half-time through a Leicester own-goal and Alejandro Garnacho made sure of the result in the closing stages by expertly finding the top right corner.

The game marked Van Nistelrooy’s last in charge as interim boss, as Ruben Amorim will leave Sporting and begin work at United when the November international break begins.

Van Nistelrooy went out on a high today and will be hopeful of staying on Amorim’s staff.,
