A 56-year-old woman in Einbeck paid dearly for her lack of attention. After she had completed the withdrawal of 900 euros at the ATM, she inserted her debit card and left the office – but without removing the notes from the machine. A customer who immediately followed apparently took the 900 euros with him instead of handing them in at a suitable location. The incident occurred on Friday afternoon in a bank branch on Dr.-Friedrich-Uhde-Straße, as the police announced on Saturday.
