Fire Breaks out at Isiolo Boys High School in the dormitory on Tuesday evening.

The incident was confirmed by Kenya Red Cross, saying it had since dispatched a response team to the institution.

The damages caused by the fire is still unknown, but a fire and rescue services from the Isiolo County government is presently on scene.

The incident comes as the latest in a string of fires that have ravaged Kenyan schools within the past two weeks.

On Saturday last week, a dormitory housing Form One students at Isiolo Girls High School went ablaze, leaving three learners injured and destroying property.

Before that came the fire incident at Hillside Endarasha Academy in Nyeri County, that caused the deaths of at least 21 students and left others injured.
