It was a closely-fought affair as France came out on top to seal a 5-3 penalty shootout win against Portugal in their UEFA Euro 2024 quarter-final, in Hamburg.

Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe struggled as both teams played out a goalless match after extra time.

Then in the shootout, Joao Felix hit the post and Theo Hernandez converted the deciding penalty as France bagged the win. France will face Spain in their semi-final clash.
