Ana Filomena Rocha, Ambassador of Portugal to Kenya, paid a visit to Diaspora_KE Principal Secretary, @roselinenjogu .

The meeting held focused on strengthening cooperation between Kenya and Portugal across various sectors including collaboration in the Information and Technology sector among other areas of interests.

Amb. Rocha shared with PS Njogu plans of enhancing service delivery in provision of consular services.

The PS on the other hand outlined @Diaspora_KE ‘s mandate as well as strategies put in place to champion the protection of rights and welfare of the Kenyan Diaspora.

The discourse also highlighted the strong potential for collaboration between the two countries and laid the groundwork for further discussions geared towards deepening existing bilateral relations.

Amb. Hellen Gichuhi, Secretary for Diaspora Welfare & Partnerships, Mr. Glenns Etyang’, Deputy Director-OPS and Mr. Felix Mbuvi-FSO were present in the meeting.
