Furthermore, refugees and migrants come from very different regions to Europe; therefore, the range of expectable diseases and health problems varies considerably.
It is well known that the mortality and morbidity pattern of foreign-born individuals living in the EU varies widely among different population groups compared with the native population
The arrival of large numbers of refugees within a short time period is a challenge for the medical system in its entirety. Health care should be Provided by a multidisciplinary team in coordination with the local health care systems and other organizations.
