GRADE TWO PUPIL’S BODY FOUND HANGING FROM ROOF OF PARENT’S HOUSE.

Posted on May 28, 2023June 3, 2023 By Editor No Comments on GRADE TWO PUPIL’S BODY FOUND HANGING FROM ROOF OF PARENT’S HOUSE.

A grade two pupil’s body was on Friday evening found hanging from roof of parent’s house in Alego/Usonga sub-county, Siaya County.
The family of the deceased has been filled with grief and sorrows following the mysterious death of their grade two son at Karapul village.
The body of the little boy was found hanging from the roof in one of the rooms of his parents’ house in what police suspect could have been suicide.

Karapul sub-location Chief Dorcas Olombo confirmed the incident and said the boy’s parents were not at home when the incident happened and were shocked when they were called back by neighbours who informed them that their son’s was dangling from the roof.
The child’s mother narrated that she had gone to the market and left him together with his younger sister while playing, only to come back to the sight of his lifeless body hanging from the roof of the house.
The deceased’s mother dismissed the possibility that his son could have committed suicide, claiming that her son could have been killed by an unknown person who then staged it to look like a suicide.
The sub-location chief said the police visited the scene and took the body to Siaya County referral hospital mortuary to await post-mortem as investigations begin into the matter.
