One person has perished in a road accident along the Thika-Garissa road after lorry rammed into a stationary trailer at Kanyonyo shopping centre in Machakos County

Police said the vehicle was heading to Mwingi from Matuu before the accident occurred.

The lorry’s turn boy died on the spot following the unfortunate incident.

The body of the deceased was taken to Mbaku Funeral Home in Matuu.
