A four-storey building collapsed in Gitaru village in Kiambu County trapping workers inside as one person is feared dead.
According to reports, four people trapped are trapped in the rubble of the collapsed building.
The building was being demolished when it collapsed.
“One person rescued, others feared trapped after a four-storey building collapsed in Gitaru, Kiambu County,” Kenya Red Cross said.
It added that its first responders, alongside a multi-agency team, are currently conducting rescue efforts to reach those suspected to be trapped.
