Germany holds Kenya Women event every year to celebrate women in Germany.

Amb. Isaiya Kabira Secretary for Investment and Entrepreneurship graced the 5th Annual Kenya Women in Germany event that was held in Mainz, Germany.

The event aims to bring together women from across Germany every year and celebrates Kenyan Women in Diaspora and those who have excelled, and making a difference in their fields of interest.

The major discussions held in the event included investment, entrepreneurship, dual citizenship, mobile consular services, gender-based violence, mental wellness as well as the unity of purpose especially on economic and social empowerment.

Mr. Wolfram Zunzer – Head of Programme, @WiduAfrica , Ms. Welella Negussie-Project Coordinator, @UNmigration and Ms. @ikarari – Director of Skills and Expertise Division @Diaspora_KE were at the event.

Amb. Kabira also led the Mobile Consular Services team in offering consular services to Kenyans at the fete.

The services included application and renewal of passports, replacement and new application for ID cards, among others.

On Monday and Tuesday, 9th and 10th September, the MCS team will be in Hamburg.
