DCI Offer Cash Award for Arrest of Serial Killer Collins Jumaisi

Posted on August 22, 2024August 22, 2024 By Naomy Mbaka No Comments on DCI Offer Cash Award for Arrest of Serial Killer Collins Jumaisi

The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) has offered a cash reward for anyone with credible information that may lead to the arrest of Collins Jumaisi Khalusha, the main suspect in Kware dumpsite murders who escaped from Gigiri police station.

This was after the suspected serial killer, Collins Jumaisi escaped alongside 12 other detainees from Gigiri Police Station earlier this week.

“Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) is seeking the public’s help in providing information that could assist in the re-arrest of Collins Jumaisi Khalusha.

“He was scheduled to be charged with murder but escaped from police custody on Monday, 20/8/2024.

“A significant cash reward will be provided to anyone with credible information leading to the suspect’s arrest,” read part of the DCI notice in local dailies on Thursday August 22, 2024.

The daring jailbreak has sparked outrage and suspicion as the majority of Kenyans raised concerns, alleging that it appears to be an inside job.

At the same time, the escape of 13 suspects has raised serious questions about the integrity of the police officers stationed at Gigiri police station.

Meanwhile, fresh details indicate that Jumaisi, a man accused of killing 42 women, and other 12 detainees did not escape in darkness but simply walked out of the police station.

On the other hand, DCI detectives are analyzing mobile phone records and financial transactions of police officers who were on duty at the station when the incident happened.
