Popular Kenyan Comedian Fred Omondi has died in a road crash.

Fred Omondi is the younger brother of celebrated Comedian and actor Eric Omondi, was reportedly involved in an accident along Outering Road and the incident was reported at Buruburu Police Station.

Various comedians and content creators have mourned Fred’s demise describing him as one of the top talents in the industry.


“He was more than a colleague; he was family,” Terence Creative stated.

“Together we suffered, together we learned and together we inspired, made people laugh and created great memories. All this I will treasure and hold dearly.”

Eric Omondi also took to his social media to mourn his late brother saying, “My brother, it is not well. God receive you, till next time.”

On Friday night, Fred hosted a Girl’s Night Out event at Captains Lounge and Grill in Athi River.

Videos shared on social media showed the comedian having fun alongside his friends in the lounge.

The comedian was also set to host another event on Saturday at the BVB Lounge in Meru.
