Five people have died in fatal road accident on Thursday afternoon after a Toyota Wish vehicle collided with a trailer.

The accident happened at Kagurumo area on the Murang’a – Kenol Road in Murang’a County.

According to police, the car was heading towards Murang’a from Kenol direction when it was hit by the trailer which failed to keep in its lane.


“Due to the impact, the driver of the motor vehicle KBM 461M and four others were fatally injured,” reads a police report on the incident.

The bodies of the deceased were taken to Murang’a morgue waiting for identification and autopsy.
