Four Burundians and One Kenyan Arrested with 151 Stolen Mobile Phones.

Four citizens of Burundi have been arrested alongside one Kenyan in Kisii County while in possession of 151 mobile phones suspected to have been stolen.

The foreigners, Birori Benard, Biziman Alain, Kubwiman Fideli and Hakizimana Janviel were nabbed together with Enock Mokaya at Nyakongo Estate on Thursday.

The five were found with 60 M-Kopa mobile phones and other 91 regular phones all believed to have been stolen from the public,according to a police report filed at Kisii police station.


The police say the suspects were likely planning to smuggle the devices to neighbouring countries.

invetsigations into the matter is underway.
