One Dead,Several Injured in a Road Accident along Meru-Nairobi Highway

Several people have sustained serious injuries and one dead in an accident in the Kajiunduthi area of Tharaka Nithi County along the Meru-Nairobi highway on Wednesday.


The collision involved two lorries and a personal car.

According to witnesses, one of the lorries and the car were traveling in the same direction, while the other lorry, which was transporting milk, was coming from the opposite direction.

The drivers of both lorries sustained serious injuries and were transported to Chogoria Mission Hospital for treatment.
