Nigeria Music Star Davido to Sue Kenyan House Media over Fool’s Day Prank.

Posted on April 2, 2024April 2, 2024 By Naomy Mbaka No Comments on Nigeria Music Star Davido to Sue Kenyan House Media over Fool’s Day Prank.

Nigerian music artist David Adedeji Adeleke well known as Davido has said that he is going to sue a Kenyan online media house following a story on his alleged arrest at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.

In a statement, dated Tuesday, April 2, the Nigerian star expressed his displeasure at the erroneous reporting adding that he found the fabrication ‘extremely irresponsible”

The Kenya House Media said that the forged story was part of their April 1,fool’s day editorial offering.

He said that the false allegations have ruined his name and his brand, insisting that he had not been arrested as alleged in the story.

He also emphasized that he has never been arrested by anyone in any of the hundreds of countries he had visited.

“Fam, it has come to my attention that false reports regarding an arrest circulated online on April 1st, which has since led to a barrage of calls,”the statement said.

“I want to assure my fans that these re-ports are entirely untrue. I successfully completed my scheduled shows in Uganda and Kenya and have since re-turned home to Nigeria.

“I’d also like to note that I have never been arrested by anyone in any country for any crime in the world. Not my home Nigeria, my home America, or any of the hundreds of countries I’ve made home throughout my career.”

Davido stated that he had already gotten in touch with his lawyer who would be judicially pursuing the case on his behalf.
