At least 10 peoole have perished and several others injured following a grisly accident at the Iguhu River Yala bridge along the Kisumu – Kakamega road.


The accident occurred after a tanker travelling towards Kakamega lost control and hit two matatus heading towards Chavakali at around 6 pm.

Those injured have were rushed to nearby hospitals including Mbale and Kakamega Referral Hospital with reports indicating that the majority are in critical condition.
