A man and woman were arrested in possession of five sacks of bhang worth ksh.5 million.

The suspects were Samuel Omondi and Judith Kerubo both aged 29 years.

The two were apprehended on Keroka-Sotik Highway in Borabu,Nyamira County.

The Directorate of Criminal Investigation said the suspects were to be arraigned.

This comes after a crackdown in the country to curb use of illicit brew and drugs
