Speaking during the announcement in Kisumu, Odinga said, “This donation is my way of giving back to the community. I believe every Kenyan deserves a decent and affordable home.”

The 5-acre parcel will be used to build affordable housing units under President William Ruto’s Affordable Housing Initiative. The project aims to tackle Kenya’s housing shortage by providing modern, low-cost homes for families.
