Nollywood Actor Amaechi Muonagor Dies at the Age of 62.

A family member verified to local media that nollywood comedy actor Amaechi Muonagor had passed away at the age of sixty-two.

According to reports from the local media, he passed away on Sunday while receiving dialysis due to kidney failure.

Tony Muonagor, the actor’s cousin, confirmed his death and broke the heartbreaking news.

His death happened not long after he made a public appeal for help raising money for a kidney transplant in India.

Several admirers have shared their sorrows on social media.

Over the course of his successful career, Muonagor portrayed a father to two mischievous and vivacious teenagers in “Aki and Paw Paw,” which remains one of his most noteworthy roles.

He was nominated for an Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award in 2017 for best actor.

His demise follows the recent passing of John Okafor, popularly known as Mr.Ibu,another nollywood icon who had openly called for medical assistance.
