Kylian Mbappe Admits Transfer Confirmation to New Club

With the announcement of Kylian Mbappe’s new club on the horizon, the dramatic transfer rumours will finally come to an end.

The star player from France has played his last game for Paris Saint-Germain, and in another interview he made it quite obvious when his future will be officially announced.

Speaking to CNN, he said: “I will leave my country for the first time. It’s going to be an amazing experience and I can’t wait to be in my new club. My next club will be official soon, it’s a matter of days. I can’t wait for that. We just have to wait a few days.”

In what has been a very busy few days, the World Cup winner was also questioned on his future at the Monaco Grand Prix at the weekend under 24 hours on from explaining why he had not confirmed his new club.

“I think that the best thing to do is to finish these goodbyes,” Mbappe admitted after the French Cup final win against Lyon when asked why he had not revealed his next club.

“I think all I wanted was to finish well with my club. There’s a trophy. I think there’s a time for everything. I’ll announce my new club in due course. I think we’re just a few days away, so there’s no problem.”

Despite Mbappe being a very busy man, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta got his moment with the 24-year-old which sparked some sensational talk of a potential last-minute change of heart.

With that in mind, football.london has taken a look at the latest Arsenal transfer rumours with Mbappe understandably dominating headlines.

As confirmed by the forward himself, Mbappe will make it known where he will be playing his football for the 2024/25 season very soon. Plenty of speculation has surrounded him over the last 12 months despite it always appearing obvious he would be joining Real Madrid.
